April 21^st 2007 - Budworth Toppers all over the North West

A very busy Saturday with 3 events running concurrently. The main event, North West Topper Travellers was held at Nantwich and Border Counties SC and was won by Budworth’s Andrew Brown with bullets in the first two races. 8 Budworth sailors entered this event.

At Winsford SC, in the second North West Junior Travellers Trophy, Rachel Wilcock finished 6^th overall in her Topper, this being her first event in the large handicap fleet after having competing in the Optimist Fleet in recent years.

Meanwhile back at the club there was close racing between John Corbridge and Laura Burt. John won the day overall with 2 wins to Laura’s 1! Matthew Thornes also made his debut in his topper!
