First Aid Training

As part of several RYA qualifications its necessary to have a First Aid certificate that is RYA compliant. In the past Club Members have organised their own training, but the Club recognises that as well as helping Members achieve their qualifications it is also in the Club’s interest to have as many people around who know what to do in an emergency. We’re therefore looking at organising training for Club Members either at the Club or locally. Attached are advertisements for the two available courses (half and full day).

Power Boat Training

Following on from the success of previous courses the club is again hosting Craig Hinkins to run a Power Boat Level 1 & 2 Course on Saturday 10th and Sunday 17th November (both days have to be attended to acquire the PB 1&2 Qualification). As Emma says “I’ve heard so many good accounts of the course I’ve lost count, and even those who thought they knew how to drive a boat have come away impressed”.
