Sailing Poem By Hannah Bristow and Rosie Wild

Posted on April 5th 2008, by Graeme Bristow

SPLASH!!!

We’re going sailing sailing with our Dad
We don’t feel at all sad
Get in the car and fetch the boat
And don’t forget to bring your coat!

We go…
Wave splash
Boom crash
Fall in
Big din
HELP ME!
Deep sea
Fun swim
Climb in

Out in the ocean havin’ a sail

Wind picks up ad we go flying!
O.K maybe were lying
Right.Lets get going
Now the waters really flowing

We have…
Wet hair
Don’t care
Soaked socks
Sailing “rocks”
Good mood
Grab food

Out in the ocean havin’ a sail

On the 23rd April I have arranged a Racing Rules refresher evening down at the Club. The evening will start at 19:30 and will be a reminder of the current rules and interpretations. It will also cover the new concepts of arbitration which might negate the need for formal protest meetings. Plus, we’ll see who actually knows how far two boats lengths is ! See you on the 23rd
