CHAMPION HELM 3rd Round - Sat 2nd June -
As last year 5 Champion Helm days are also combined with Handicap racing. The Champion Helm Series is open to everybody, and consists of a pursuit race being followed by 2 handicap races. The pursuit race format is highly recommended as you can compete on equal terms with boats from other fleets. First race 1.00pm sharp!

Posted on May 29th 2007, by the WebmasterCommodore’s weekend is approaching fast (16th / 17th June). Keeping in the tradition of Budworth being able to party well Pauline has organised what is anticipated to be another humdinger of a party for the Saturday night. Local haute cuisine establishment Carte Du Jour are again providing a fantastic spread including roasted organic hog (vegetarian food available by prior arrangement at time of buying ticket) and Manchester based cover band Snatch are set to entertain us. We’re hoping for fantastic weather as for the past 2 years, but if we do get a spot of rain now have a LARGE gazebo to cover the front lawn. Further details are available on the website under /visitors/social. Tickets are just £22 for adults and £15 for the under 13s.
