GP14
The GP14 Fleet at Budworth is one of the largest in the UK at nearly 50 boats, and has enjoyed consistently high numbers over many years.
Budworth Sailing Club has a friendly atmosphere and strong social calendar. It goes without saying that the GP fleet makes a sizeable contribution to this, always supporting - and often organising - a range of events throughout the year.

54 GPs lined up along the promenade outside Llandudno SC on Friday 3rd July eagerly waiting to get on the water for the first three races of the 2009 GP14 Nationals. Making up the 54 GPs were 7 boats from Budworth, the largest turnout from any club for which the Fleet was awarded the Sandgrounder Cup. Budworth competitors were Ted & Alex Garner, Fred & Daniel Arden, Bill Kenyon & Ben Ditchburn, James & Judith Downes, Paul & Chris Bowmer, John & Phil Waind, Peter & Peter Fisk.
