Laser
The Laser dinghy is a single-handed, one-design boat that is sailed in the Olympics as well as World, European and UK National events and locally in many sailing clubs across the country. With three rig sizes (Standard, Radial and 4.7) it is versatile and suitable for both sexes and all age groups from teens upwards.
It can be car topped or trailed and, as well as club racing at Budworth, there is a Northern Grand Prix Event circuit around local clubs.
The Laser fleet at Budworth has grown in the last 2-3 years and there are now around 50 helms in the fleet.
